Oppo A2x Features & Relased Date News
Oppo has formally announced that the Oppo A2x smartphone will be available on October 14. The company posted about this on its Weibo page and also has the device in its online shop. With a starting price of CNY1,099 (about $150), the Oppo A2x is marketed as a cheap phone.
There have been rumors that the phone will have a Dimensity 6020 chipset, but the company has not yet released full details about the specs. The memory options for the device are 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, or 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It's also important to note that the device has a single camera on the back and a camera on the front that's hidden in a waterdrop notch.
The Oppo A2x is only available in Midnight Black in the online store right now, but official ads show that it will also be available in Flying Frost Purple and Mulberry Gold. The device's power button is very big and flat, which makes me think it will also work as a fingerprint reader. This makes me think that the front of the phone might be an LCD screen.
It's still too early to say a lot about the Oppo A2x, but more details should be revealed at the official launch event in four days. There is no word yet on whether or not the device will finally be sold in other countries, possibly with a different name. It will first be released in China.
