Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design Leaks
Huawei and Porsche Design worked together for a long time, making limited-edition Mate series phones and smartwatches. But when the Mate 50 RS Porsche Design came out last year, that partnership came to a stop. Now, Huawei has released its new Ultimate Design line of high-end phones, with the Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design being the first phone in this line.
When it comes to specs, the Mate 60 RS Ultimate Edition and the Mate 60 Pro+ are very similar. The Kirin 9000s CPU powers it, and it has a 6.82-inch LTPO OLED screen, a camera setup with 48MP, 48MP, and 40MP sensors, and a big 5,000 mAh battery.
The Mate 60 RS Ultimate stands out because of how it looks. It has a clay back and a unique camera island in the shape of an octagon. You can pick between the bright red and black colors, both of which have two-tone finishes.
Along with the device itself, Huawei is giving Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design buyers who apply for a Huawei card special benefits for a year. Some of these benefits are access to VIP lounges at airports and train stops, insurance for flight delays, the ability to talk to a lawyer, and even horseback riding lessons. Huawei also sells Star Diamond cases that cover both the front and back of the Mate 60 RS Ultimate. These cases come in black and red and are only available from Huawei.
For the Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design, you can choose between black and red. It costs CNY 11,999 ($1,641) for 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage space and CNY 12,999 ($1,778) for 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage space. In China, this gadget will go on sale to the public later this month.
